Burlington is part of the Greater Hamilton and Toronto urban region. It includes a long Lake Ontario waterfront, the Royal Botanical Gardens (shared with Hamilton), and a portion of the Niagara Escarpment with conservation areas at Mount Nemo and Rattlesnake Point.

Geography & Major Routes

The Queen Elizabeth Way and Highway 403 / 407 cross the city. The Burlington Bay Skyway provides the main road connection west to Hamilton.
