Downtown Cornwall along Pitt Street, Le Village along Montreal Road, the Cornwall waterfront, the Riverdale area, and the eastern neighbourhood of Long Sault toward the rural area are notable parts of the city.
Cornwall is part of Eastern Ontario, with a population of approximately 47,000. For broader context, see the Eastern Ontario regional map and the Ontario map with cities.
