About Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is a world-famous city in Southern Ontario with a population of approximately 94,000 residents, best known for the spectacular Niagara Falls waterfalls on the Niagara River. The city is one of Canada's premier tourist destinations, attracting millions of visitors annually to witness the power and beauty of Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.
The city's economy is heavily based on tourism, with numerous hotels, restaurants, attractions, and entertainment venues catering to visitors. Clifton Hill serves as the main tourist district with wax museums, haunted houses, and family attractions. The Niagara River defines the city's eastern border, separating Canada from the United States. The city is also served by Niagara Falls station with GO Transit and VIA Rail service.
