About Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is one of Canada's most-visited tourism destinations. The city extends along a steep escarpment beside the Niagara River and includes the Horseshoe Falls, the Rainbow Bridge to the United States, the Niagara Parkway, and a dense entertainment district along Clifton Hill and Fallsview Boulevard.

Geography & Major Routes

The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) and Highway 420 connect the city to the rest of the Niagara Region and the GTA. The Niagara Parkway follows the river from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario.

Niagara Falls Districts & Communities

The Falls and Tourist Districts, Clifton Hill, Fallsview, the historic downtown along Queen Street, Stamford, Chippawa to the south, and the residential areas along Lundy's Lane are the main parts of the city.
