About Markham
Markham is a city of approximately 350,000 residents in York Region, located northeast of Toronto in the Greater Toronto Area. Recognized as Canada's high-tech capital, Markham hosts over 1,000 technology and life sciences companies, including major international corporations like IBM, AMD, Apple, and Huawei. The city successfully balances innovation with heritage, maintaining its historic Markham Village while developing cutting-edge business districts.
