About Oshawa
Oshawa is the largest city in Durham Region, part of the Greater Toronto Area, with a population of approximately 175,000 residents. Located on the western shore of Lake Ontario, Oshawa is situated about 60 kilometers east of Toronto. Known as "The Motor City of Canada," Oshawa has a rich automotive manufacturing history as the home of General Motors Canada's headquarters and major assembly operations.
